Mrs. Viola Hebert Thompson, age 95, of Ocean Springs, died Friday, March 27, 2015.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Jeanerette, LA and was a resident of Biloxi, MS for over 90 years. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Biloxi, Fleur de Lis Ladies Auxiliary and a lifelong member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Edward “Ed” Thompson, Sr.; son, Bradley Thompson; daughter-in-law, Rose; and four brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Edward) Necaise; son, Butch Thompson; two grandchildren, Bridget Burritt (Jeff) and James Necaise; sisters, Mercedes Bosarge and Loretta Foster; three brothers, Wilkes Hebert, Melvin Hebert and James (Margaret) Hebert; four great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Regina Mills and her staff; the staff on the 5th floor at Biloxi Regional Medical Center; and Southern Care Hospice.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a service on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
