Virgie H. Reams

Mrs. Virgie H. Reams, age 81, of Moss Point, MS., died Monday, September 29, 2008, in Moss Point. Mrs. Reams was a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past six years and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County, FL. She was a member of Saracennia Road Baptist Church in the Helena Community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Lester D. Reams, her parents and three brothers. Survivors include two sons, Reverend (Dr.) Clem D. Reams of Helena, MS. and Phillip E. Reams of Knoxville, TN., two sisters, Margie Lee of Lamont, FL. and Maxine Bass of Vero Beach, FL., two brothers, Bobby Hamilton of Winter Beach, FL. and Doug Hamilton of White City, FL., two grandchildren, Cheryl Cole and Alexander Reams, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2008, from 1-2 PM, with a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
