Virgie Logan

Mrs. Virgie Hebert Logan, age 86, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Sunday, October 18, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Logan was born in St. Louis, MO., and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for 46 years. As a military wife she supported her husband, Major Roy B. Logan, Jr., through 25 moves and countless separations. Survivors include her son, Roy B. Logan III of Ocean Springs, MS., and daughter, Sandra Lymperis of Clarkston, MI., both of whom will be ever grateful to a mother who prayed over them. Her devotion to her family, her protective nature of children, her loyalty, sense of community, and deep faith will be kept alive by her five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two dearly loved nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow with a 10 AM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
