Virginia Dale Spiers

Mrs. Virginia Dale Spiers, age 74, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, November 23, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Spiers was a lifelong resident of the community and a 1953 graduate of St. Martin High School. She was a very Christian and Godly wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Jo Dawkins Hartfield and two sons, Tony Spiers and Roy Spiers. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Bert E. Spiers, a daughter, Linda Dale Spiers Bock, two sons, Howard "Steve" Spiers and Charles J. "Jeff" Spiers, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 28, 2009, from 10 AM - 12 Noon, with a 12 Noon church service, all at the First Baptist Church of Windsor Park. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
