Virginia "Ginger" Annette Smothers

Virginia "Ginger" Annette Smothers, 61, of Diamondhead, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 in Bay St. Louis. Ms. Smothers was a long time resident of the Gulf Coast and resident of Diamondhead for the past 2 years. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her daughter Christine Smothers and son Russell Smothers both of Diamondhead, parents, Morris and Alpha King of Bagdad, FL, sister Connie King of Ocean Springs, 3 brothers Michael King and wife Meredith of Gulfport, Paul King, David King and wife Judy of Milton, FL, and 1 grandson Conner Smothers. The funeral service will be 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit 1 hour before service. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
