Virginia Viola Larkey

Virginia Viola (Forester) Larkey, age 88, of Weirton, WV, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Gulfport, with her loving family by her side, on December 26, 2024. She was born in Wick, Tyler West Virginia on December 12, 1936 to parents Clyde and Verga (Jones) Forester.

She enjoyed traveling, bowling, reading, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Larkey is preceded by her parents, Clyde and Verga Forester; spouse Lonnie (John) Larkey; son-in-law Mark Andrew Cowden; siblings Kenneth Forester, Donald Forester, Betty Mayhew, Charles Forester and infant brother Paul Forester.

She is survived by children Pamela (Forester) Sutton, Christal (Larkey) Cowden, Melissa Larkey and Michele Lee (Sherwin) Agustin; grandchildren Zac Willey, Tirrell Willey, Ethan Willey, N. Willey, Elizabeth (Cowden) Welch, Jonathan Caban, Elise (Cowden) Fullerton, Zeth Clark, Madison Caban, Jose (Pee-Wee) Caban, Isabel Agustin, and River Agustin; five great-grandchildren and siblings, Robert Forester and Ruby (Forester) Duvall.

A memorial service will be held at Open Door Baptist Church 3432 Eldersville Rd. Colliers, WV on January 18, 2025 at 2:00pm with fellowship dinner immediately following at the church.
