Mrs. Virginia Quave Bellais, 69, of Biloxi, MS died Sunday, February 6, 2005 in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Bellais was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She worked many years at Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant where she served President Gerald Ford upon his visit to the coast. She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Bellais was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Bellais, Sr; her parents, Jacob L. and Emma "Gertie" Quave; a sister, Vera Quave Bothwell and two brothers, J. L. Oswald Quave and Walter Quave.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Swanzy and her husband, Bruce, and Starlette Fayard and her husband, Bobby; three sons, Herney Bellais, Herbie Bellais and Bubba Bellais; two brothers, Clement Quave and Arnold Quave; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at D'Iberville Memorial park.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of services.
