Mrs. Virginia Ruth "Ginny" Webb, age 59, of Vancleave, MS., died Saturday, November 17, 2007, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Webb was a native of Longview, Texas. She retired in 2007 as an accountant after fourteen years of service with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Regional Wastewater Authority. Her thoughts were to inform the general public, friends, and family of the importance of regular checkups to prevent the spread of cancer (colon cancer).
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Menasco and Norma Evans Mitchell and a sister, Sylvia Menasco.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Reed S. Webb of Vancleave, MS., a daughter, Heather L. Kitchens of McKinney, Texas, son, Jeffrey S. Webb of Fort Worth, TX., seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Sarah, Shannon, Hannah, Carter, Hillary and Hannah, two sisters, Bonnie Jarrell of Vancleave, MS., and Linda Pennington of Arkansas, two brothers, David Menasco of Texas and Alden Williams of New Mexico, thirteen nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles, Leslie Evans, Dottie Moser, Bettye Ray, Helen Mercer, Peggy Pettit, Robert Evans, Jerry Evans, and Pat Hanson, all of Texas.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, from 10 AM - 11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
