Virginia Miller Williams

Virginia M. Williams, 85, of Ocean Springs, MS went to The Lord on April 4, 2023 in Ocean Springs, MS.

She was born on October 5, 1937 to Herbert and Ezmer Miller. She graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1954. She was an Assistant Vice President of First Federal Savings and Loan until her retirement after twenty-five years of service. She was very active with Epsilon Sigma Alpha- Mississippi Charter, Treasure Oak’s Women’s Tennis League, traveling, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs, MS.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry E. Williams; and her brothers, Jerry, Terry, and Percy Miller of Ocean Springs.

She is survived by her sons, Bart M. Williams of Ocean Springs and Joel G. Williams of Tampa, FL; grandsons, Josh Williams of Mobile, AL, and Sean and Ryan Williams of Tampa, FL; sister, Maduie Storie; and sisters-in-law, Deborrah Miller and Thelma Miller of Ocean Springs.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to St. Jude’s Children and Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

A small celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 911 Porter Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Ocean Springs.
