Walter Edward Hamilton

Walter Edward Hamilton, 75, of Long Beach, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 in Gulfport. He was born in Biloxi and was a life long resident of Long Beach. He retired from the Aluminum Plant in Gulfport and previously served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Carrie Jordan Hamilton; and three sisters, Patsy Bobinger, Rita Hudson, and Carol Moran. Mr. Hamilton is survived by his long time companion, Ellie Wilson; five sisters, Valerie Ellsberry, Bessie Winstead, Sarah Strickland, Beatrice Prestwood, and Barbara Taranto; and three brothers, Billy Hamilton, Donnie Hamilton and Leo Hamilton. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport.
