Walter F. Buckoski

Walter Frank Buckoski, formerly of Ocean Springs, died Thursday, May 19, 2011. Sunrise November 9, 1918 - Sunset May 19, 2011. Visitation for Walter F. Buckoski will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, 911 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs. Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Father Bernie Farrell officiating. Mr. Buckoski, 92, of Pittsburg, PA passed away Thursday, May 10, 2011 at the Grace Home in Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria LA surrounded by family. Mr. Buckoski was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Ocean Springs, a service connected Purple Heart Veteran in the European Theater during W W II, and a member of the VFW in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Buckoski was retired from Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio, and he loved to fish. He raised his family in McDonald, Ohio. He moved with his family to Ocean Springs, MS in 1977 and lived there until Hurricane Katrina forced him to relocate in Louisiana. He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Mark Buckoski, parents Walter and Anna Kosinska Buckoski and brothers Joseph Buckoski and Chester Buckoski. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 63 years, Jennie Buckoski, of Colfax, LA, son Brian Edward Buckoski and wife Dorothy Dell Eaves Buckoski, of Pineville, LA, grandsons Brian Erik Buckoski of Little Rock, AR and Stephen Joseph Buckoski of Pineville, LA.
