Walter Lawrence White

Walter Lawrence White, 87, of Gulfport, died Sunday, August 13, 2006 in Gulfport. Mr. White was born in Birmingham, AL and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1986, having moved from New Orleans, LA. He served as a Merchant Marine during World War II and was a retired real estate attorney. A true southern gentleman, his life was a demonstration of graciousness. He was Catholic. He is survived by a niece, Joyce Broome; and two nephews, David White and Tom White. The funeral service will be Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
