Mr. Walter Marcus Martin, 72, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Biloxi.
Mr. Martin was born May 28, 1938 in Shivers, MS and has called Biloxi home for over 50 years. He was the son of the late Trusdale Martin and the late Sarah Mozelle Armstrong Martin. He worked as a mechanic for Pringle Ford and F&F Distributing Company, retiring from there in 2009. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in d'Iberville.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Grady Martin, and grandson, Matthew Martin. He leaves behind a son, Chris (Tammy) Martin, and a daughter, Cindy (Randy) Grammar. He is also survived by his beloved granddaughters, Lindsey and Shelby Martin, and Stephanie, Sarah, Emily and Olivia Grammar; his brother, Carey (Annette) Martin; sister-in-law, Audrey Grady, brother-in-law, Richard (Delores) Grady; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Robert Cobb, the nursing staff of the MICU at Ocean Springs Hospital, and the staff at Biloxi Community Living Rehabilitation Center for their care and concern during their father's illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church were friends may visit from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of services.
