Walter Bryan Snell

Walter Bryan Snell, age 86, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in Biloxi. 

Born September 9, 1937, in Shelbyville, TN, Mr. Snell is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Velma Snell and siblings, James and Emmitt Snell, Jean Williams and Mary Neill.

Mr. Snell served in the US Army and was a long-haul truck driver for most of his adult life.  During his free time Walter very much enjoyed golfing.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Cogan-Snell and their 5 children, Vickye Martin, Ron Snell, Deborah Ensign, Bridget Haley, and Walter W. Snell; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and two puppies, Patches and Sassy.

Surviving younger sisters include Margaret Parker and his very youngest sister Debbie Wunner. 

There will be no service. 

Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery.  Date and time to be determined in the future.
