Wanda Louise Roberts Valentine

Wanda Roberts Valentine, 60, of D'Iberville, MS, died Sunday, February 12, 2012, in Gulfport. Mrs. Valentine was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter and sister. She lived to take care of her family. She never met a stranger. anyone who knew her loved her. She was a very strong and cheerful person regardless of what was going on in her liFe. Our loss is Heaven's gain. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Eugene "Buddy" Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Leslie C. Valentine of D'Iberville, sons, Ken (Dina) Cook and Shawn (Danielle) Cook of Biloxi, and Les Valentine of D'Iberville; grandchildren, Ethan and Dawson Cook; mother, Dolores Broussard Roberts of D'Iberville; sister, Tanya Sjostrom of Perkinston; brothers, Timmy Roberts of D'Iberville and Lee Lofton of Biloxi. Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 4:30 p.m. until service time. Interment will be in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
