Warren Chester Nickson

Warren C. Nickson, 87, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Biloxi, MS. Warren was a resident of Ocean Springs for 66 years. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran, an avid fisherman and he worked salvaging metal works until his death. Warren enjoyed time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed by all. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Genevieve Nickson; and his first wife, Lena Lamey Nickson. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Roberta Nickson; daughters, Donna Keebler of Ocean Springs and Kelly Glover of Biloxi; son, Leroy Glover of Latimer; grandchildren,Christopher Glover, Toni Lovett and Dana Lofland all of Biloxi and LaDonna Keebler Russum of Perkinston; and great-grandchildren, Destany, Mikayla, Riley, Skylar, Estevan and Angelina. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made The Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the Biloxi National Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
