Warren J. Migues

Warren J. Migues, age 81, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Warren was born in Biloxi on June 15, 1941. He attended Biloxi High School and was Miss. State Amateur Softball Pitcher of the Year in 1968. Warren worked for Delchamps as a store manager and for Kraft as a sales representative. He enjoyed coaching the Gulfport Boxing Club and loved baseball, football, and golf.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Martha Bourgeois Migues and his grandchild, James Edward Migues.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Powell Migues; children, Kim Migues Irwin (John), Kelly Migues Hode, Shane L. Migues, and Shawn D. Migues (Melanie); grandchildren, Amanda Rosenstiehl, Ashley Migues, Shawn Migues, Jr., John P. Irwin, Jr., Jeremy Irwin, Emily McKenzie, and Kalyn Lamey; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Migues family.
