Wayne H. Stone, Sr.

Wayne H. Stone, Sr., 89, of Biloxi, MS died on Sunday, April 4, 2010. Mr. Stone was a native of Hillsboro, MS and a resident of Biloxi since 1964. He was retired from the US Navy and Biloxi VA. Mr. Stone was a member of the North Bay VFW #6731 and also of Beauvior United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Minnie Ponder Stone. Mr. Stone is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jo Stone; daughter, Judy Stone; sons, Wayne H. (Marilyn) Stone, Jr., John (Debra Kay) Stone; sister, Majella Winstead; grandchildren, Joanna, Robin and Kyle Stone. The family prefers donations to Beauvior UMC, 2113 Pass Road Biloxi, MS 39531-4001. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, West Biloxi from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Biloxi National Cemetery. Prior to graveside services friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
