Wayne Joseph Sebby, 86, died Sunday, August 2, 2009 in Biloxi.
Mr. Sebby was in the US Army 69th Signal Corp. where he served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe and Ardonnes. He retired from Illinois Bell Telephone company and held membership in the American Legion Post 106, Telephone Pioneers and a Mason with Plainfield Lodge No. 536 for over 50 years.
Mr. Sebby was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Arthur Sebby; his first wife, Arlene Thorsen Sebby and twin brother, Wayde J. Sebby.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sebby; daughters, JoAnne Stapleton, LeAnne Thompson; sons, Ronald Sebby, James Sebby; brother, Glenn Sebby; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and stepdaughters, Susan Black, Jean Navin and Nancy Fegan.
