Wayne H. Wooten

Wayne H. Wooten, age 71, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on March 21, 2023 in Stone County, MS.

He was born on February 2, 1952 in Sardis, MS to Joe Lee Wooten and Ola Mae Herron. He was a graduate of St. Martin High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force after serving for twenty years. He loved fishing with his girls.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and sibliings, Foy, Joe, and Cheryl.

He is survived by his wife, Josephina L. Wooten; children, Christine Michelle Wooten and Wanda Gale (Phillip) Cleveland; and siblings, Flavius Wooten, Tannis Hayman, and Lisa Bond.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Back Bay and Woodhaven Church.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
