Wendy Donnell Berry, age 65, of D'Iberville, MS, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at the Quality Hospice In-Patient Center in Biloxi, after a year long battle with cancer. Ms. Berry was born March 10, 1940, in Kansas City, Missouri. She had been a resident of D'Iberville for five years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ms. Berry had a great love for music and was an accomplished pianist and also had a great talent in arts and crafts. Ms Berry was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Marvel Donnell. She is survived by her children, Kimberly B. Tootle and her husband Rex S. of D'Iberville, MS; Kenneth Ray Berry and his wife Bobbi of Gulfport, MS; and Laurie S. Berry of Sun City, CA.; her faithful companions, her dogs, Scruffy and Fluffy; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Tootle Speaker and her husband Andy of Ocean Springs, MS; Rex S. Tootle, II and his wife Amanda of D'Iberville, MS; Charles R. Tootle of D'Iberville, MS; Tiffany Stark of Gulfport, MS; Sean Berry of Gulfport, MS; Colton Berry of Gulfport, MS; Mark Barela of Sun City, CA; Gavin Stackhouse of Sun City, CA and Tyler Berry-Skinner of Sun City, CA; and four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Speaker of Ocean Springs, MS; Morgan Speaker of Ocean Springs, MS; Dalton Speaker of Ocean Springs, MS; and Rex S. (Trae) Tootle, III of D'Iberville, MS; a brother, Edwin Donnell of St. Louis, MO and a sister, Marvel (Red) Donnell of California. The family would like to thank the following people for their support during their time of need: Linda Hewitt, Dawn Myers, Laurie Davis and all the staff at Quality Hospice of the Gulf Coast and at the In-Patient Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 20, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12 noon where friends may visit from 11am to 12pm. Burial will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park. The family prefers memorials to Quality Hospice of the Gulf Coast, Inc. 999 Howard Ave. Ste. 1 Biloxi, MS 39530.
