Mr. Wildon Anthony Olier, Sr., 73, of Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, November 30, 2005, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Olier was a native of Biloxi and lifelong resident of the coast. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was employed in the oil industry in Louisiana. He later worked as a nursing assistant with the Biloxi V A. Medical Center and retired in 1988 from Civil Engineering at Keesler A.F.B. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
Mr. Olier was preceded in death by his father, Duffy Olier and a brother, Joe Olier.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Rita Olier of Biloxi; one daughter, Duan Rose Brook, and her husband, James, of Houston, Texas; two sons, Wildon A. Olier, Jr. and Duane Anthony "Tony" Olier, both of Biloxi; his mother, Lelia Aleman, of Woodburn, Oregon; one sister, Shannon Rose Spooner, of Woodburn, Oregon; two brothers, Curtis James Olier of Puyallup, WA and John Wayne Olier of Biloxi; five grand children and five great grandchildren
Visitation is Sunday, December 4, 2005, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2005, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
