Wilfred "Willie" Wilson, Jr.

Wilfred "Willie" Wilson, Jr., age 80, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at his home. Mr. Wilson was a Retired Msgt. in the US Air Force with twenty years of service. He worked seventeen years at Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was a member of Elks Lodge #2501 in Ocean Springs, American Legion Post 1992 in Gautier and VFW in Ocean Springs. Mr. Wilson enjoyed spending time with his closest and dearest friends, Kay and Rusty Little, Kelly and Thomas Matthews, Tom and Judy Hill, and Jim Kerner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Anne Wilson; parents, Wilfred and Opal Wilson, Sr. and sister, Thelma Davis and also by first wife, Marie Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by four step-daughters, Helen (Jimmy) White of Orange Beach, AL, Lee (Bill) Hayes of Gulfport, Martha (Rick) Alex of Navarre, FL and Louise Richards of PA; two nephews, Rod (Tami) Davis and Tim Davis of Ohio; one aunt, Bea Thompson of TX; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2011 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to your favorite charity or society.
