Willard John Lamb, 86 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on March 15, 2022.
He was born January 11, 1936 in Lockport, NY. He graduated from Lockport High School and Kansas University in 1964. He was a well-known author, candle master, black belt in Akido, and invented Lap Siding also known as “Aluminum siding.” He served in the U.S. Army as a medic from 1954 to 1962. He loved to sail, Akido, was a master of Acient Taiji Art for over thirty years, and had an interest in the area of Lazhu Fangfa and the esoteric areas of force development.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Lamb and Gladys Heatuerly Lowe; and siblings, Roger Lamb and Douglas Lamb.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Tommie L. Studdard Lamb; children, Willard J. Lamb, Jr. and Thomas E. (Lisa) Lamb; and grandchildren, Lauren H. Lamb, Thomas A. Lamb, Heather N. Stewart (Austin Gaughf), Sydni L. Lamb (Tyler Caporyscio) and Kayelee A. Lamb.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs is honored to serve the family of Mr. Willard Lamb.
