Brent Adams

William Brent Adams, age 48, of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Brunswick, GA.

Brent was born on February 27, 1976 in Gulfport to William H. Adams “Bert” and Diana S. Adams. He graduated from Gulfport High School and was the owner of Adams Flowers and Gulf Coast Wholesale Florist. In his later years, Brent was a heavy equipment operator. He was a God-fearing Christian man. Brent was an avid fisherman. He was also a hunter, craftsman, and animal lover. He enjoyed woodworking and was the best story teller (big or small).

Brent was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Bonnie S. Latham; cousin, Sarah Meek; aunt Mary Katherine Adams; paternal grandparents, William F. Adams “Bill” and Lena Florence Adams; and his faithful companions, Barley, Baby Kitty, Rudd, and Molly.

Survivors include his former wife, Dianne E. Adams; daughter, Abigail Elizabeth Adams; uncle, John S. Adams (Ellen); sister, Melissa Adams; his pet and very loyal companion, Troubadour; and many other friends and family members. 

Abigail and Dianne would like to send their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of the CCU at Southeast Georgia Health System/Brunswick Campus; as well as the Nunnally House in Brunswick, GA. You all were so caring and made sure we were taken care of and Brent was the priority. Top notch care. Thank you.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Adams family.
