William "Bill" Lindsey

William "Bill" Lindsey , 66, of Biloxi, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Biloxi. He was retired from Dupont and previously served in the National Guard. He was a current member of the Joe Graham American Legion Post 119 and had served as 2nd Vice Commander, 3rd Vice Commander and on the Executive Board. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks for several years most recently with Lodge #606, and a member of Forty and Eight. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Jane Lindsey; his father, Carlton P. Lindsey, his mother, Ola Mae Stephenson Lindsey; his brothers, Frank and John; and sisters, Lillian Taylor and Vivian Ferguson. He is survived by three daughters, Donna Densford, Charlene Kerkow, and Lisa Cooper; a son, Howard Monk; two sisters, Joyce Meadows and Nan Keith; two brothers, Alex Lindsey and James Lindsey; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 12 noon until the service.
