William Campbell

Mr. William Campbell, age 88, of Biloxi, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Mr. Campbell joined the Merchant Marines after High School and retired from the Air Force in 1949. He was an asbestos worker for 20 years. Upon his retirement he worked as a Golf Course Superintendent in the Biloxi area. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by his parents, William and Corinne Campbell; sister, Lila McCloskey; and brothers, Rodney and Donald Campbell. Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Alma Campbell; sons, William C. Campbell III (Argo) and Eric Campbell; four grandchildren, Christopher (Chanon), Christina (Dean), Michael (Sara) and Dr. Michael Nalls; great grandchildren, Bailey, Ethan, and Peyton Campbell, Abigail and Grace Wilkinson, and Colin, Matthew, Olivia and Emma Kate Campbell. Services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
