Mr. William "Bill" Caldwell, age 75, of Latimer, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Caldwell was a native of Biloxi and a lifelong resident of the coast. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962-1966. He was formerly employed with WLOX as an engineer, worked in the oil fields and clearing power lines. He also owned his own landscaping business and was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Caldwell was preceded in death by his parents, Elliott Caldwell and Antonia Skrmetta Caldwell Werthner and a half-sister, Linda Caldwell Ross.
Survivors include his wife of almost 39 years, Mary Mabry Bailey Caldwell, step-son, Darrell Keith (Karla) Bailey Jr, daughter, Jennifer Caldwell (David) Underwood, sons, William Matthew (Angela) Caldwell and James Gary Caldwell, brother, Raymond Werthner and eight grandchildren, Alexander (Tara) Tourville, Hannah Tourville, Devin Bailey, Dominick (Katie) Rodosta, Cameron Caldwell, Cody Gray, Cade Caldwell, and Leo (Kathleen) DeGeorge, and great-grandson, Robert DeGeorge.
On Wednesday, February 28, 2018 there will be an 11:00 a.m. graveside service in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
