William F. Damone

On Saturday, May 7, 2022, Retired Captain USMC William F. Damone was called home to be with the Lord.

He was born on November 20, 1931 and passed away at the age of 90. He served thirty years in the United State Marine Corps honoring his country. A true “Old Corp” Marine to the end!

William was preceded in death by his parents, Pasquale and Maria Damone; stepmom, Christine, who raised him; two brothers, Ralph and Robert Damone; sister, Dolores Damone; and his beloved wife of fifty-five years, Joan Carole Damone.

He is survived by his three children, Deborah (Kenny) Dunlap, Christina (Tim) Jackson, and William (Nicki) Damone Jr. He also left his continuing legacy of nineteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.

We love you always, and you were and always will be our Hero!

A visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Friday, May 13, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Biloxi, MS. Burial will follow at 2pm at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
