Mr. William Edward Wade, Sr., 82, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, September 22, 2006, in Biloxi.
Mr. Wade was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and retired from the Biloxi Police Department where he served many years as a detective. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, BPOE #606 of Biloxi, V.F.W. Post #1636, and the American Legion.
Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Richmond and Hazel Franklin Wade, and his brother, Wilfred Wade.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Gloria Saujon Wade, of Biloxi; three daughters, Sandra Ann and her husband, Roland T. Roberts, Sr., of Ocean Springs, Darnell Wade Greenberg and her husband, Stuart, of Jacksonville, FL, and Edna Wade Seymour of Biloxi; his son, William Edward Wade, Jr. and his wife, Elaine, of Middletown, MD; fourteen grandchildren, Nicole Cusic, Sharee Quave, Johnny "Red" Seymour and his wife, Dixie, Chad Seymour and his wife, Catherine, Brigitte M. and Brian Ankrom, Michael E. Wade, Randy J. Wade and his wife, Heather, Karen R. Wade and David A. Wade, Roland Thomas Roberts and his wife, Tracy, Scott Edward Roberts, William Joseph Roberts and his wife, Sheri, and Yvette Dawn Roberts, and nine great grandchidlren, Mason Schumacher, Tori Howard, Tyler Howard, Tori Seymour, Connor Seymour, Johnny Etherton, Jaden Wade, Adriel Wade and Justus Wade. "Pa Pa" will be sadly missed by all.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 11 a.m. where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
