William Edwin Orsi

Mr. William E. Orsi, 88, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Orsi was born August 16, 1922 in Murphy, MS and had been a longtime resident of the coast. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and formerly employed with Ingall's Shipbuilding. Mr. Orsi was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Mable Orsi; and brothers, Frank Orsi of Greenville, MS, Dave Orsi of Detroit, MI and James Orsi of Vancleave. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Freda Kurek Orsi; and siblings, Louise Ferreri of Leland, MS, Betty (Walt) Wilson of Pinellas Park, FL, Francis Boykin of Jackson, MS, and Thomas (Margaret) Orsi of Osaka, MS. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs is in charge of arrangements.
