William Garcia, Sr.

William J. Garcia, Sr., 76, of Biloxi, died Monday, August 29, 2005. Mr. Garcia was a native of Hemphill, TX. He had been a Coast resident for the past 36 years. He was a US Army Veteran of Korea and Vietnam Wars retiring as a Staff Sergeant after 23 years of service. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Geneva Garcia. Mr. Garcia is survived by a daughter, Jennia Rene' Garcia; sons, William J. Garcia, Jr. and wife Linda and Jeff Garcia all of Biloxi; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Ebarb of Shreveport, LA and Gladys Savagge of Zwolle, LA; a brother, Ozell Garcia of Zwolle, LA. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 2:00pm in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
