William "Billy" Gibson

Mr. William “Billy” Gibson, born July 31, 1938 in Macon, GA departed this life on September 12, 2024, at 1:15 am in Pascagoula, MS.

Billy was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs, MS. Billy loved the Lord, was a teacher of the bible, and a strong witness for Jesus Christ. He served in the Marine Corp. Billy retired from Security from Halter Marine in Pascagoula, MS. 

He is survived by his wife, Kelsey, three daughters, six grandchildren, and a brother, H.W. Heath of Macon, GA.

Ephesians 2: 8, 9 (8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". 

Visitation will be on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 11 am until 12 pm,  with a 12 pm church service, all at First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
