William “Bill” Hunter, Gulfport resident, age 89 departed this earth on November 11th, 2020.
William is survived by his eight children and survived eight grandchildren. He was a decorated navy veteran, coastguard, and merchant marine. William always loved learning and strived to be a master of many skills. His favorite hobbies were reading, spending time with family, and traveling, there wasn’t one country he didn’t visit. William was very passionate about the time he spent in the navy. He was part of the Shriners, the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, and the Freemasons. His family thanks the support and outreach from the community.

The funeral service will be Monday, November 16, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour before the service. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery with Military honors by the United States Coast Guard.
