William Joseph Dannenmueller, 65, loving father and grandfather, passed away at home in Biloxi, Thursday, October 23, 2008.
He was born July 1, 1943 in New Hamburg, Missouri, the son of the late Cornelius and Marie Jansen Dannenmueller.
William was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and served as an Airborne Command System Support Radio Operator for 26 years and was proud to have been able to serve aboard Air Force ONE. After retirement he earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi for Computer Science and went to work at Keesler Medical Center. After retiring from that position in 2005 he began volunteering for the Keesler Medical Center Volunteer Services. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Angela Hebden and her husband Richard of Ocean Springs, Tina Murray and her husband Kevin of Biloxi; a son, Tracy Dannenmueller and his wife Theresa of Biloxi; three grandchildren, Miranda Dannenmueller of Whiteman AFB, MO, Gabrielle and Joseph Murray of Biloxi. Other survivors include his eight brothers and sisters, Pat Glenzy and husband Terry of Chaffee, MO, Jerome "Butch" Dannenmueller of Scott City, MO, James Dannenmueller and wife Vicky of Oran, MO, Michael Dannenmueller of Fulton, MO, Mark Dannenmueller of Sikeston, MO, Cornell "Buddy" Dannenmueller and wife Mary, Cornelia "Susie" and her husband Larry Farrar and Carolyn and husband Rickey Smith all from Oran, MO.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 12:15 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends may visit one hour prior to mass.
Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the: William Dannenmueller Memorial, Keesler Credit Union for the Keesler Medical Center Volunteer Services.
