William Wilbur Parker, 64, of Vancleave, MS died Monday, February 24, 2014 in Mobile, AL.
Mr. Parker was a native of Marked Tree, AR and a resident of Vancleave since 1967. He was formerly a self employed shrimper and a welder employed with Ingalls. Mr. Parker was also the former owner of C&W Mobile Home Movers. He was a member of Vancleave Assembly of God. Mr. Parker was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Parker is preceded in death by his son, Gary Kelly Brown; his parents, Wilbur and Emalene Parker; and his sister, Wilma Griffith.
His survivors include his wife of forty years, Patricia Brown Parker; his daughters, Chrissy Osborne (Chris) and Cameron Nicole Parker; his sisters, Brenda Dunkle, Violet Forehand, Betty McClure and Wanda Land; his brother, Ronald Parker, Sr. (Bessie); and his grandchildren, C.J., Carly and Colton Osborne.
Visitation will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Vancleave Assembly of God on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Parker will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Vancleave Holiness Cemetery.
