William Walter Smith

William Walter Smith, age 90, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014. Mr. Smith was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 3 years. He retired from the US Navy and served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a Master Wood Carver for which he won many awards. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his son, William Earl Smith. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Smith; daughters, Patricia Lynn McElhiney (Michael) and Catherine Marie Madigan (Christopher); grandchildren, Jason Fastenau and Brian Smith Madigan; and stepson, Kirk Blow (Aileen).
