William Stanley “Bill” Thigpen

William Stanley “Bill” Thigpen was called to his Lord Sunday, March 19, 2006. Bill and his loving wife Cindy resided in Gautier, Ms. He was born in Bay Springs, Ms on September 11, 1943. Mr. Thigpen was retired from Fleur Daniels where he worked as a validation specialist at Pharmaceutical plants. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked many years at Ingalls Shipyard. He traveled around the country extensively for Fleur Daniels inspecting welds at Nuclear power plants and medical manufacturing plants. He was very well respected in his field for his expertise. Mr. Thigpen is survived by a loving wife Cindy of 11 years, a daughter, Cheri Noel of Sylmar, Ca; two sons, Michael of Fredrick, Md, and William of San Antonio, Tx; and a step-daughter, Becky Hopkins of Batesville, Ar.; He is also survived by his Father, Onyx and Mother Eron Thigpen of Biloxi; five sisters, Nat Hebert of Biloxi, Jeannie Doser of Oklahoma City, Ok, Cindy Saxton of Gulfport, Dorothy King of Biloxi, and Connie Marodis of Biloxi. There are also five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is dearly missed and loved by all. Services will be conducted by the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Homes, 2511 Pass Rd, Biloxi on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 1:30 PM with internment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 8910 Carl Legett Rd, Gulfport, Ms.
