Mr. William T. "Jack" Brown, age 87, of Vancleave, MS., died Sunday, September 17, 2006, in D'Iberville.
Mr. Brown was a lifelong resident of the coast and served in the US Army during WWII. He was a retired truck driver, an avid fisherman, and Atlanta Braves fan. Mr. Brown was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley M. Brown.
Survivors include five daughters, Shirley Owens, Tina Romero, and Toni Waldrop, all of Vancleave, MS., Mary Ross of Ocean Springs, MS., and Sarah Gardea of Phoenix, AZ., five sons, James Hixenbaugh, William "Tommy" Brown, Jr., Roland "Peanut" Brown, and Roger D. Brown, all of Vancleave, MS., and David Wayne Brown of Anchorage, Alaska, one brother, Darwin Davis of Ocean Springs, MS., twenty two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 21, 2006, from 10-11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
