William Bond Vinoski

William Bond Vinoski, age 63, of Gulfport, MS and formerly of Roslyn Heights, New York, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was a retired U. S. Navy Veteran having served from 1986 through 2006. Mr. Vinoski is the beloved husband of Roberta Cohen Glaser Vinoski; devoted brother of Bobbie Nanos of Scottsboro, AL; and brother-in-law of Janis and Ted Slepian of Oyster Bay, NY, and Barry Cohen of Stony Brook, NY; and uncle of Jesse Nanos of Scottsboro, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Vinoski and Maxine Bond Vinoski, and his brother-in-law, Peter Nanos. The family would like to thank the very capable, dedicated and compassionate nurses and staff of the Biloxi VA Medical Center who provided care for Mr. Vinoski during this very long journey. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Nugent United Methodist Church, 13183 John Clark Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
