William W. Allred, 72, of Metairie, LA passed away Thursday March 24, 2005.
Mr. Allred was a member of the American Legion and Loyal Order of the Moose. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, U.S. Border Patrolman, and a Merchant Marine. He also spoke 5 languages, was an artist, writer, and a pilot.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Allred, three daughters, Erin Amanda Allred of New Orleans, LA, Amber Celeste Ford of Hattiesburg, MS, and Katherine E. Cox of Laurinburg, NC, one son, William W. Allred, III of Pensacola, FL., three brothers, Michael Allred and Sam Allred both of Crystal Springs, MS and Patrick Allred of Farmerville, LA, and four grandchildren. Mr. Allred is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Nina Allred.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 31, 2005 from 10 am until 12 noon, with Services at 12 noon, all held at the Howard Ave. Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi, MS. Procession will follow to Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
