William Austin Walters

Mr. William Austin Walters, age 24, of Lake Charles, LA, died Friday, November 1, 2013, in Lake Charles. Mr. Walters was a graduate of Vancleave High School. He served in the U.S. Army from November, 2007 until January, 2013 and was a veteran of the Gulf War, serving as a Crew Chief on UH-60 Black Hawk helicoptors. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry A. Walters III. Survivors include his parents, Jerry A. Walters II and Allyson Walters, brother, Dillon (Jessie) Walters, grandparents, Jerry A. Walters Sr., USA Retired, Marilyn and Edward Knowles, USN Retired, William Cartee, and nephew, Oliver Jackson Walters. Visitation will be on Monday, November 4, 2013, from 5pm until 8pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Tuesday, November 5, 2013, there will be a 12 noon chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
