Willie C. Phifer

Mr. Willie C. Phifer, 82, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, January 22, 2006, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Phifer was a native of Union, NC and had been a resident of Biloxi for the past 55 years. He was a model car collector, easygoing and a helpful person. Mr. Phifer was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chevelle Phifer. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Hilda Miller Phifer; one son, James Phifer, of Biloxi; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 12 noon Friday, January 27, 2006, at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. A procession will leave the funeral home at 12 noon for graveside services at 12:30 p.m. at Biloxi City Cemetery.
