Willie Lee Stivers

Mrs. Willie Lee Stivers, 70, of Biloxi, MS, died Monday, November 13, 2006, in Biloxi. Mrs. Stivers was a native of New Augusta, MS and had been a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was a member of Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral. Mrs. Stivers was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Stivers. Survivors include her companion, Carrol J. Landry; three sisters, Thelma "Freckles" Ann Cosgrove, Ethel Barnett and Ressia Presley; her half sister, Linda Snyder, and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Skelton and nurses Poetznick, Rossomondo, Kernes, Scott, Silva, Salter and Rowe. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Nativity B.V.M. Cathoic Cathedral where friends may visit one hour before service time. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral, 870 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
