Willis N. McNeil, 73, of Gloster, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Veterans Home in Biloxi, MS. He was transferred from Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home to Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.
Mr. McNeil was born December 25, 1948 in Gloster, MS. to Willie J. and Perlie Price McNeil. He served in the Vietnam War and was of the Methodist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eula Kay and Jeanie McNeil; three brothers John McNeil, Mitch McNeil, and Pricie McNeil; and one brother in law, Glyn Forman.
Survivors include one sister Maisie Forman of Gloster; two brothers and one sister in law, Mason and Patricia McNeil of Liberty, and Eddie McNeil of Liberty, MS.; one nephew James McNeil of Liberty; one niece and her husband Chastity and Jake Newman of Liberty; one great-nephew Carson Ellis; two great nieces , Taylor Ellis and Hadley Newman all of Liberty.
Visitation is Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Reggie Forman. Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
Pallbearers are James McNeil, Carson Ellis, Jake Newman, Bubba Foster, Sammy Kirkland, and R.D. Kirkland.
The family would like to thank the staff at the VA Home in Biloxi for their care and also a big thank you to Ashley West for all her care and help.
