Willis L. White

Mr. Willis L. White, age 83, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015, in Ocean Springs. Mr. White graduated from Bernice High School in Bernice, LA. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, one year in Korea. He was then stationed at Keesler Air Force Base where he met his wife, Nell Cary Goodman. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past April. Mr. White attended Woodbury College in Los Angeles, CA and graduated with a degree in Business/Accounting. Willis and Cary spent ten years in Saudi Arabia before retiring to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. They have been members of First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs for 56 years. Willis was deeply loved and cherished by his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, A.R. Neal. Survivors include his wife, Cary Goodman White, three children, Joanna (Greg) Worch, Laurie (Robert) Webb and Steve White and seven grandchildren, Kelsey (Jonathan) Ebelhar, Maura Worch, Ethan Worch, Robby Webb, Joshua Webb, Ryan Webb and Nathan Webb. Visitation will be on Friday, October 16, from 10am until 11am, with an 11am Memorial Service, all at First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
