Wilma Breed Duchemin, 86, of Gulfport, died Sunday, May 15, 2005 in Gulfport. Mrs. Duchemin was born in Poplarville, MS and had been a resident of Gulfport for 80 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gulfport. She was a former Girl Scout leader and taught Sunday School at Grace Memorial Baptist Church. She served as a hostess at the USO in Gulfport during World War II.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. Breed, Sr. and Mary Elma Smith Breed; and brothers, Jack Breed, Jr. and Joe Breed.
She is survived by a daughter, E. Loretta Courville of Gulfport; two granddaughters, Loretta Renee Courville and La Verne Jordan, both of Gulfport; and two great-grandchildren, Justin Jordan and Sabrina Jordan.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 18, 2005 from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
