Wilma "Debbie" Lee Martin

Wilma “Debbie” Lee Martin, age 87, a longtime resident of Ocean Springs, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

Debbie was born on October 29, 1937, in Asheville, North Carolina. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. She loved cooking, collecting, and Elvis Presley. Her family will always remember her strong personality and determination to do things her way.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack Martin; her daughter, Julia Ann Pittsley; and grandsons, Kevin Pittsley and Tommy Wilkie. Survivors include her children, Daniel (Debbie) Martin, Tommy (Faye) Martin, Laura (Larry) Wilkie, Wanda Lovell, Donna Dees, and Joseph (Jude) Martin; her grandchildren, Daniel, Shannon, Kristen, Matt, Lauren, Trinket, Drew, Heather, Summer, Rachel, Vanessa, Keith, Monica, Larry, Joshua, Jennifer, Mellissa, Brittany, Dakkoda, Alyssa, and Cara; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Riverchase Village, Notre Dame Hospice, and the MICU at Ocean Springs Hospital.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
