Woodrow "Woody/Woo" Wilson Pringle III of Gulfport and Orlando, passed into the Lord's hands Dec. 14 in Orlando, FL. Born in Gulfport, MS on September 30, 1954 to Woodrow W. Pringle, Jr. and Bernell VanCourt Bourgeois He has been a lifelong resident of the Coast and served his community for 30 years as an attorney; 13 of those years as a family court prosecutor. One of his passions in life was coaching baseball and he did so for many years. Woody graduated from University of Mississippi and the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is survived by and dearly loved by his wife, Rachel; his two sons, Michael Pringle (Maria) and Matthew Pringle; his mother, Bernell Bourgeois; sister, Rebecca Pringle; brother, Danny Pringle, wife Lori and children Sally and Sara; stepchildren, Chase Owen, Emiliegh Owen, Reagan Morgan; grandchildren, Isabelle, Grace, Hailey, Annabell, Marliegh, and Nola. Woody has received numerous awards from the Gulf Coast Associate of Legal Support Professionals, 2001-2002 Boss of the Year, an Oustanding Citizen Katrina Relief Award from New York and an award from the Department of Justice of the United States of America. Woody is predeceased by his father, Woodrow "Woody" W. Pringle, Jr.; his grandparents, Daniel Bernard VanCourt and Nellie Louise McElroy VanCourt (MawMaw and PawPaw Springs), and Woodrow "Woody" W. Pringle, Sr. and Evelyn Pringle (MawMaw and PawPaw Pringle). Woody loved The Church In The Son in Orlando Florida and dedicated all of his life to his faith in God. Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 2010 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. The funeral service is Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. and our wonderful Woody will be laid to rest at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
