Yancey Yeatts

Yancey Yeatts, age 50, of D’Iberville, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022.

Yancey was born on July 19, 1972 and lived in several cities in Mississippi and returned to the Gulf Coast for the last sixteen years.  He was a graduate of Biloxi High School and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He loved playing guitar and had previously been in a band.  He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all that knew him.

Yancey is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Nadine Yeatts of Virginia, and Reverend Eli and Ruby Compton Layne also of Virgina.

Yancey is survived by his parents, James and Faye Yeatts of Biloxi; his sibling, Jamie (DeDe) Yeatts, III, of Mobile, Alabama; his wife of 25 years, Fran Yeatts of D’Iberville; and his children, Dylan Yeatts and Ashley Yeatts of D’Iberville.

Services will be held at Woolmarket Baptist Church located at 12816 Lorraine Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532 on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
